Print Holds Among the Affluent

The Affluent Survey also measures perceptions and category involvement among higher income individuals across a number of other areas. Some of the more interesting findings include:

-Affluents spent approximately $1.7 trillion in the 156 categories measured last year. 68% of all affluent spending came in six categories -- vehicles, insurance, education, groceries, home/garden and travel.

-26% of Affluents now personally own a tablet -- nearly triple the tablet ownership of 2011.

-On their "To Do" List for 2013, affluents are most often planning to take a personal/vaction trip and redecorate/remodel/renovate their home or grounds.
