- Ubiquitous Connectivity: With the internet available on a full time basis for many, it will more often be the point of or on the path to purchase
- Blurring Boundaries: Consumers will think less in terms of traditional channels. Drug stores now sell fresh food. Consumers will put a premium on convenience.
- Maturing Retail Technologies: Technology is allowing retailers to streamline backroom function without effecting the in-store consumer's experience.
